Vintage nesting doll set from Brest Region of USSR entitled, “Happy Family”. This “Matryoshka” set of five (5), shows the extended family of the mother or mother-in-law, husband, wife, son and daughter. Background of this regions doll is outlined on p. 29 of “A Collectors Guide to Nesting Dolls” by Michele Lefkovitz.
