This charming “Chimney Sweep” is fast becoming one of the highly collectible figures that were made by Tremar Pottery. There is a combined use of a matte glaze and no glaze on this wonderful man. Roger and Doreen Birkett set up Tremar Pottery in the early 1960’s in Liskeard, Eastern Cornwall, UK. In the mid-70’s they produced various people in “trade” positions, small animals, vehicles, and buildings, with invitations on the boxes for the buyer to collect the whole set. Tremar closed in the mid-1980’s. Impressed with pottery mark on base. Shown, in last photo, with a collection of coordinating pottery. Each Sold Separately
