Georgia Art Pottery Miniature Pitcher Jug W.G. Gordy

Offered for your consideration is this fantastic find. This cute little miniature pitcher or jug measures 1 3/4" tall and 1 5/8" across from handle. It has a nice brown with hints of black glossy glaze. It is perfect no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. the bottom is marked Georgia Art and the price of 5 cents. I have found similar pieces of W.J. Gordy pottery but none this small. In my research of him I found he preferred to sell his pottery at reasonable or cheep prices. He was a very humble man. What a great chance to have a piece of history. Mr. Gordy died in 1993 at the age of 83.
