Dating from 1885, Gorham's "Old Masters" scarcely has any parallels in the realm of American sterling silver flatware.

Measuring 5 3/4" long, and weighing just over over .6 T. oz., this sterling silver ladle has a singular dimension and form 1 3/8" diameter by 3/8" deep, flat bottomed bowl with scalloped edges and a coffered wall.

Made by Krider & Biddle c. 1865, and marked with that company's emblem, this 8 3/8" long, 1.8 T. oz. berry spoon has a reverse tipt end handle with an engraved front.
