This matched baby fork and spoon were made by the Webster Company, likely in the first quarter of the 20th century. They are in the arts & crafts manner, with hammered surfaces. Both pieces have looped handles which provide finger grips. The spoon is 3 1/4" long, and the fork is 3". Neither piece is monogrammed. This three piece, matching coin silver youth set dates to the mid 19th century. Made by New York's Albert Coles, the pattern is engraved on shaped handles, each of which is engraved "Lora." The knife is 7 1/2" long, while the fork and spoon are both 6 1/8". The knife is solid silver, with a blunt-end blade and a surface that is engraved in an ivy design. This sterling silver napkin ring is a plain band that measures 1 5/8" in diameter and stands 1 1/8" high. It weighs 1.0 T. oz. It was made by Watson and is model number 129 according to the stampings on the inside. It is a plain band form with leaf engraved borders. Engraved "Barbara" on the outside, and "May 8th, 1913," on the interior, it likely was a birth or christening presentation piece. This sterling silver cup stands 2 1/4" high, has a top diameter of 2 3/4", a reach of 4" to the end of the handle, and weighs 2.4 T. oz. It is model number 224 made by Gorham estimated c. 1930. There is a script "D" monogram on the front, and a pale gold wash on the interior. It is in very good condition. There are two slightly flattened spots on the bottom rim, and one on the hollow handle. Otherwise the form and finish is flawless.

This solid sterling silver porringer is 5" in diameter across the bowl, and meaures 7" to the tip of the handle. It stands 1 1/2" high, and weighs a moderate 4.7 T. oz. It is stamped with the Mueck-Cary mark, plus Sterling and the number 112. It also has a second (which may be a first) stamp that is faint, but includes an SM in a diamond and 925/1000. Food pushers were baby items used, as the name denotes, to hold or push food against a fork. They are charming implements, given their association with tender tots. They are also frequently made up, or assembled, i.e. "hand crafted." That is not so with this completely original example in Gorham's Etruscan. The overall length is 3 1/4", and the blade is 2" wide.
