This piece is a 10 1/4" diameter, large soup bowl or shallow serving dish. The maker's stamp is incused on the reverse and reads "Clews Warrented Staffordshire," surrounding a crown. The central theme is an oriental scene, while the border is densely decorated with a variety of exotic vegetation. The transfer appears quite clear, and the blues are intense. This flower brick was made by Delft of Holland. It is a reproduction produced for Colonial Williamsburg circa 1970. It is 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 2" and features a polychrome, oriental scene of a man fishing from a bridge. The background is pale blue. This is in mint condition and comes in its original box. The tag on the front identifies it as model C 26. The underside is stamped as shown on photo set number 3.
