This demitasse or five o'clock cup and saucer is marked with a purple "Tiffany & Co., New York" stamp, and a black "Cauldon Ltd, England" stamp, along with the hand-painted model number V 3207. The saucer measures 4 1/2" in diameter, while the cup stands 2 1/8" high. The design is opulent but not over stated. Measuring 5 3/4" at the longest by 3" high for the creamer, and 6 3/4" long by 4" high for the covered sugar bowl, this set was made by Royal Doulton in 1935 according to the markings on the underside. Measuring 10 1/4" long, 7 1/2" wide, and 2 1/8" deep, this open vegetable bowl was made by Royal Doulton in 1935 according to the markings on the underside. These include the date code "V 1630." The pattern is The Beaufort, which is confirmed by a designation on the bottom. It is an ivory ground design with blue, yellow and pink flowers, and a center brown design in the interior base. It is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks or breaks in the glaze.
