The style of this 6 1/8" long, approximately 1.3 T. oz., pair of tongs along with a "Sheaf of Wheat" motif dates it to the earliest years of that span.

The cupped grips are shell form, the shaped arms have beveled margins, and the arch is wide at 7/8" at the broadest.
