Massive firm that it was, Gorham had an entire division that produced ecclesiastical items.

This 4 1/8" long, relatively heavy .4 T. oz., spoon, item number "785," is a product from that line. Other marks include Gorham's lion, anchor, G, and the word "Sterling." It is identified in 1896 and subsequent company catalogs as a "chalice spoon" (see image 2).

It features a "budded," aka Apostles or Cathedral, cross on the end of the handle...
