Gorham Chippendale Solid Sterling Youth Fork and Knife

Dating from 1890, Gorham's Chippendale is something of a stylized interpretation of this traditional motif. This offering is a matched youth set including a 5 15/16" long fork and a 7 1/4" knife. Both pieces are solid sterling, and weigh 2.2 T. oz. combined. Each item is also inscribed "Seth" in script on the handle. The condition is very good, with the items retaining clear pattern detail and showing no damage. There is slight tip wear on the fork tines, with are otherwise straight and free of bends or nicks. The knife blade has a slight burr on the tip, but otherwise is well-shaped and free of signs of wear. Both pieces are marked lion, anchor, G, and Sterling.
