Choice Gorham Medallion Sterling Teaspoon

This 6" long, modest weight, teaspoon in Gorham's classical motif "Medallion" is in exceptionally fine condition. The high relief, male warrior figure has been spared polishing wear; it retains sharp, clear detail. The bowl is even, with a nicely rounded tip, and free of burrs or dimples. The finish is lustrous. Marks are lion, anchor, G, "Pat. 1864," and Sterling.
