Webster Caliper Style Sterling Tongs

Suitable for sugar cubes or olives, this pair of sterling silver tongs was fashioned by Webster. They are shaped like a set of calipers, measuring 3" long by 2 1/8" at the widest, and weighing just under .5 T. oz. They have two arms joined at a spring loaded, riveted crosspiece. The short ends have rounded handles, while the long ends are curved and have slightly pointed tips. They are in excellent condition, with a still-functional spring, a tight fit at the join, and free of any bends, nicks, or burrs. Marks are the Webster emblem, and the words "Webster" and "Sterling."
