Old Gorham "Versailles" Sterling Strawberry Fork

Marked with a lion, anchor, G, "Sterling," and the word "Copyrighted," this strawberry fork is an original issue (1888) example of Gorham's "Versailles." It measures 4 11/16" long and weighs just under .4 T. oz. There is a script "B" monogram on the reverse. It is in outstanding condition. The cherubic figures retains precise detail, evidencing virtually no polishing wear. The tines are even, pointed, and absent bends or burrs.
