$ 110

Measuring 6" across, standing 1 1/2" high, and weighing approximately 2.9 T. oz., this sterling silver dish is model number 510 made by Meriden Britannia and retailed by W. Wattles & Sons of Pittsburgh, as indicated by the marks on the underside. The style is decidedly Art Nouveau with a date c. 1900. The pattern is a flowing, highly articulated lily motif. A popular floral subject, this lily would be compatible with flatware of the same design such as produced by Whiting and other makers. This has a script "MSL" (?) monogram in the interior center. It is in excellent condition, free of dents, polishing wear, and with a fine finish.
