Gorham "King George" Sterling Silver Gumbo Spoon

Measuring 6 7/8" and weighing just over 2.0 T. oz. (heavy), this round bowl spoon is gumbo sized, larger than a cream soup, but often referenced as that. The pattern is "King George," the last and most successful of Gorham's kings iterations. This is without a monogram or removal and in excellent estate condition. There is faint polishing wear and surface scratches consistent with age, but no other signs of use. Marks are lion, anchor, G, "Sterling," and "Pat. 1894."
