A highly decorative design that features scrolls and floral rosettes, International's "Revere" dates from 1897.
This example is a pair of sugar tongs that measure 4 1/2" long and weigh a relatively heavy .9 T. oz. They have especially appealing cupped and reticulated grips. There is a feathered script "MM - GT" monogram inscribed on the arch.
The condition is mint. They show no polishing wear, have a brilliant finish with a natural patina, and are free of bends, breaks, or repairs.
Marks are the International indian head emblem and the word "Sterling."
