Dating from early in the 20th century, Tiffany's "Faneuil" anticipates the Arts & Crafts movement in its straightforward, hand crafted look. It is a pointed antique pattern with a reverse tipt end, and a thumb drop on the backside join, in this case with the handle, of this 7 1/4" long, approximately 1.5 T. oz master butter knife.
There is an "APC" monogram done in a open letter manner that is consistent with the overall design of the piece as well as the sensibilities of the Arts & Crafts style. Otherwise the piece is plain save for the marks, which are, "Tiffany & Co.," "Sterling," and "m."
The condition is flawless. All surfaces are smooth and have a fine patina. The blade is even and free of burrs, bends, or dings.
