Named "Fruit," this Art Nouveau pattern dating c. 1900 features grape clusters and leaves and oranges and orange blossoms.
The design is set in high relief and fills the handle and cascades onto the blade of this 6 1/2" long, .8 T. oz., master butter knife. It repeats on the backside of the handle in simpler manner. The blade has a pronounced scalloped upper edge and curved and beveled lower edge that comes to a point.
It is without a monogram or removal and is in very fine condition. There is no polishing wear and the butler's gray finish is appealing. The blade is even and free of bends or nicks. The tip has a very slight burr.
