Measuring 6" long and weighing .9 T. oz., this early 20th century sugar spoon is decidedly Art Nouveau in style. It features a full bloom lily at the terminus of the handle, and an iris midway up. Leaves and tendrils complete the design on the front and extend to the backside. It is without a monogram or removal.
The bowl is a modified shell form with a scalloped end and slightly flanged edges.
It is stamped "Sterling" but the maker's mark is rubbed, leaving the formal pattern name in question.
Condition is very good. Design detail remains clear and well-defined. There are light surface scratches consistent with age. These are more pronounced in the bowl, which also has some slight unevenness.
