A bold Art Nouveau design, Providence, Rhode Island's Baker-Manchester's "Poppy" successfully competed with other manufacturers' poppy patterns produced around the turn of the twentieth century.
This grouping includes seven serving pieces comprised of three different sized ladles, a cold meat and a beef fork, a tomato or cucumber server, and a small berry spoon.
They are all in pristine, virtually unused, condition, without monograms or removals, and are marked with the Baker-Manchester "birds flanking an M" emblem, and the word "Sterling." The berry spoon and tomato server both have matte gold washes on the serving surfaces.
