$28.00

Per piece, two available.

"Lily" was an engraved pattern with a patent date of 1900 that is commonly attributed to the Schofield Co., although this 5 1/4" long, relatively heavy at just over .8 T. oz., individual butter spreader is explicitly marked for Kirk.

Furthermore, the marks used date to the time of original issue. They are located on the edge of the handle and read, "S. Kirk & Son Co.," "925/1000," and "58M."

The piece is solid silver and has a rather thick handle and blunt end blade. The bright cut design appears on both the obverse and reverse, and additionally is engraved "Lacy" on the front of the handle.

It is in flawless condition. The engraving remains crisp and well-defined. The blade is flat and free of burrs or nicks.
