A late Art Nouveau design dating from 1909, International's "Pansy" offers a delicate portraiture of its namesake flower.
This example is 4 7/8" long, .7 T. oz., cream ladle. It has a three lobed bowl with decorated shoulders and a single pansy blossom in the heel.
It is choice condition and without a monogram or removal. It is free of polishing wear and the bowl is without dents, bends, or burrs.
Marks are the indian head emblem of the Wilcox and Evertsen division of International, "Pat'd," and "Sterling."
