$45.00

At 4 1/2" long, and a relatively heavy .9 T. oz., this food scraper is slightly larger than a baby food pusher, which it resembles.

Whereas the pusher is bent, this has a flat, 2" wide, pierced, blade with a straight front edge and scalloped sides and shoulders.

A rarely found item, this form seems to have been favored by Towle who produced this in the company's 1900 "Old Newbury," and offered it in other patterns as well.

It was retailed by "A.M. Jewett" whose name appears on the reverse, along with the imprinted Towle emblem, "925/1000," and "Sterling."

It is without a monogram or removal and in excellent condition. The bead design is free of polishing wear and the finish is lustrous. The blade remains flat and even, but does have surface scratches indicative of use.
