$110.00

Standing 5" tall and 3 1/4" wide at the base, this syrup pitcher or jug is model number "1794 D," as stamped on the silver collar. Other marks include the Gorham "lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," and a date symbol for "1906."

The body is glass, cut in a flower, perhaps aster or daisy, leaf, and scroll design.

This is all capped with a solid sterling collar with a rolled rim and fitted lid.

The lid has a dome top, a thumb lift attached to a hinge, and is engraved "JMD" in script.

The piece is in choice estate condition. The glass is free of chips, flakes, cracks, or cloudiness. The silver is without bends and has a lustrous finish. The lid fits evenly, the hinge retains its original pin, and the join with the glass is secure.
