$200.00 Price for the set of twelve.

Introduced in 1890, "Greenfield" is a multi-motif, scroll design that appears to draw upon Aesthetic sensibilities.

Produced by A. F. Towle & Sons, the pattern was continued in production by its successor company, Lunt.

This rarely found group of twelve, matching, ice cream, or in today's parlance, sorbet, spoons all measure 5 1/4" long and have lightly inscribed "D" monograms on the fronts. Individually they have a somewhat light feel, but the group together actually weighs a substantial 6.8 T. oz.

The bowls are especially attractive. They have flat bottoms with rounded ends, and high, coffered shoulders with scalloped edges. Both front and back sides are finished in a deep, bronze hued, satin surface, gold wash.

They are in excellent estate condition. Pattern detail remains well-defined, showing no polishing wear. The bowls are all free of bends, nicks, or burrs, and retain their gold finishes.

Marks are the A. F. Towle emblem and the word "Sterling."
