$95.00 Two available.

Standing 4" tall with a top diameter of 2" and a bottom diameter of 1 1/2", and weighing approximately 2.6 T. oz., this beaker (becker) has German origins. Primarily for wine, it holds 4 liquid ounces.

It is stamped on the underside with a "crown, 800, lion" emblem, which designates the silver standard, and the name "C.E. Keyser," which was a Leipzig firm.

Having smooth, tapered sides, this form appears in glass and other metals, such as pewter.

This presents in a particularly refined manner, with a satin finish on the exterior and a warm, gold surface on the interior. There is a fancy, leaf monogram on the side, the dominant letter of which is "E."

Dating from about 1920, it is an estate piece in very fine condition. Apart from one dimple on its side, it is without any signs of wear or use, sits evenly, and has a flawless finish inside and out.
