While a known Tiffany pattern, "Daisy" stands apart because it was not offered as a full line and information about its history and origins is scarce.

This example is an impressively scaled at 9 5/8" long, 3.1 T. oz., serving spoon. It has a large scoop bowl with rolled, flange shoulders and a broad, rounded end. The reverse of the bowl has a matte finish while the obverse has a bright finish.

The matte surface handle has a rounded end and eleven applied daisies. These are joined by a thin wire which runs the length of the handle clear to the join with the bowl. This design approach suggests an Aesthetic influence, and in keeping with that, likely a date circa 1880.

The backside of the handle has a bold, period Victorian "CTH" entwined monogram which is consistent with the ascribed date.

It is in excellent condition. The bowl is free of dents, bends, or burrs. The handle is without evident wear. It should be noted that there is a subtle bend in the wire around the second daisy from the bottom right, where the tacking has come lose.

Marks are "Tiffany & Co." and "Sterling."
