Standing 2 1/2" high, measuring 5 1/8" long and 4 1/8" wide, and weighing 3.2 T. oz., this bowl is marked with the "Whiting Manufacturing Company" emblem, "Sterling," model number "2115," and has a date symbol for "1907."

A bon bon dish, it is "Chippendale" or "Georgian" in style, with a scalloped and broadly splayed upper edge that unfolds from the oval body.

It stands on four, cast, solid silver shell and pad feet and is inscribed with a flowing "LBK" monogram on the long side.

It is in superb estate condition, without any bends, nicks, or dents, and possesses a mirror like, hand polished only, finish. The sole sign of use are several spots in the interior bottom of the bowl where previous tarnish dulled the surface.
