$46.00

Five o'clock coffee size at 5 3/8" long and weighing .5 T. oz., this spoon was made by Watson, whose Mechanics Silver division "Pennant" emblem and the word "Sterling" appear on the backside.

The pattern is "Pond Lily," which is a high relief, Art Nouveau design executed with the kind of detail, fidelity to form, and artistic expression which set Watson apart.

The bowl shows a die cut representation of "Fort Sumter" in "Charleston, SC," and so identified. The rendering is precise and intricate, illustrating the fort set alongside shimmering water.

Never monogrammed, this remains in as made condition. There is no wear or damage and the gray finish silver shows a rich patina.
