A charmingly delicate piece, this bon bon measures 4 3/8" long and weighs .6 T. oz.

All sterling silver, and so marked, it features an open work bowl that incorporates a series of swirls, leaves, and beading, punctuated by four symmetrically-situated floral rosettes.

The wire frame handle repeats the same structure and motif as the bowl.

In flawless condition, this is without any wear or damage. The filigree work is completely intact, absent any breaks or bends.

This is without a maker's mark, although the design is reminiscent ones produced by several major American makers, George Shiebler in particular, in the late 19th century, leaving an attribution indefinite.
