Issued in 1904, Gorham's "Royal Oak" pattern is a faithful representation of oak leaves and acorns interpreted in a relaxed, naturalistic, manner that reflects the Art Nouveau sensibilities of its period.

This example of the line is a 4 3/8" long, .9 T. oz., pair of sugar tongs with highly articulated talon form grips.

The reserve area on one of the arms is engraved with a delicate, leaf script, "SC" monogram.

In superb condition, these are free of wear, bends, or damage, and have a bright, even, finish.

Marks are Gorham's "lion, anchor, G" emblem and "Sterling," imprinted on the inside of one arm.
