$45.00 Price for the pair.

Each of these two tea or coffee spoons measure 5 1/4" long and weigh approximately .9 T. oz. combined.

Matching items, they are marked for London, 1814-15, sterling, and makers Peter and William Bateman. The maker's stamp is rubbed but is legible for these familiar members of their well-known English silversmithing family, and the date is appropriate.

The "Old English" handles are downturned with "Tipt" backsides and have thumb drops on the bowl reverses.

The fronts have "M over D*B" block letter monograms.

In very good condition, they are free of polishing wear, cracks, tears, or dents, and have warm, even finishes. The bowls are well-shaped and free of tip wear, but show slight pebbling in the bases.
