Measuring 5 7/8" long overall, and weighing 1.2 T. oz., this bon bon has a large, 3" by 2 1/4" by 5/8" deep, open work, basket-like scoop end.
The pattern is "Paul Revere" by Towle.
Introduced in 1906, this has a heavy, curvilinear, handle with a triple line margin ending in a scrolled end.
It is engraved with a flowing script, Art Nouveau style, "BS" monogram on the handle from.
In choice estate condition, this is without wear or damage and has a bright overall finish. The bowl is free of bends, breaks, or cracks.
Marks are Towles' "standing lion in a T" emblem, "Sterling," "925/1000," and a cursive "PR" for the pattern name.
