$65.00 One only available.

The largest of the round bowl soup spoons, gumbos are larger yet than cream soups, which in turn are a size up from bouillons.

This 6 5/8" long, weighty at 1.5 T. oz., example was made by Gorham in its "Buttercup" pattern.

It is an early production piece marked with Gorham's "lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," "Patent 1900," and the name of the retailer, Boston's "Smith, Patterson Co."

This retains a portion of an original pale gold wash on both sides of the bowl, although it is minimally evident on the reverse.

Never monogrammed, this is in excellent condition. Pattern detail is clear and sharp. The bowl is free of dents, bends, or nicks, and the overall finish is bright.
