European Knight & Cupid Figural Solid Silver Scoop

This silver scoop is 4 5/8" long. It is clearly Continental silver. It has various marks, as shown in the images. These include a 930, which may be the silver standard. Other stamps appear to be English, so the piece may have been remarked for the UK domestic market. It is a charming item that has a cast handle that is rococo in style. The shank has scrolls and roses. The top of the handle features a knight with a sword and shield. Below him is a winged serpent or dolphin. The bowl is die struck and features a winged cherub against a pastoral background. The condition is excellent. There is no damage and no evidence of wear.
