7 NG Wood (Boston) Engraved Coin Dessert Spoons

These seven spoons are all 7" long and weigh 6.7 T. oz. the lot. While they are a matching set, with all of them monogrammed with an Old English "B" on the reverses, there is some slight variance from piece to piece. They are all stamped "Coin" and "N.G. Wood," but five are in a script stamp and two in block lettering. The fronts have pointed tipt ends and are engraved, but there again there is subtle detailing difference in the engraving from item to item. All of this suggests they were in part custom made and were hand finished. The condition is outstanding. None of the pieces evidences polishing wear; the bright cutting is sharp and clear. The bowls are free of tip wear, burrs, dings or dents. The finishes are lustrous.
