Handsome Gorham Engraved Sterling Gravy Ladle

This sterling silver gravy ladle is 6 7/8" long and relatively heavy. It was made by Gorham, and is stamped with the company's lion, anchor, G hallmark, along with the word Sterling. It is a variant of Gorham's late 1800's "Mothers" pattern, which is basically a pointed antique design. This has particularly fine bright cut engraving on the handle. It has a script "T" monogram. The bowl is 2 1/2" wide and 1 7/8" back to front. It is slightly pinched on either side, to assist in pouring. It also retains its original gold wash on the interior. It is in flawless condition, with virtually no wear, and a fine finish.
