Poole "Chippendale" Lion Head Sterling Creamer &Sugar

This solid sterling silver creamer and sugar set was made by Poole, and so stamped on the undersides of each piece, along with the Poole emblem, the word "Sterling," the number "33," and the name of the design, "Georgian." They are quality items in immaculate condition and without monograms or monogram removals. The bowl is 5" across, handle tip to handle tip, and 3" at the highest, while the creamer is 4 3/4" handle tip to spout end, and also 3" at the highest. The pair together weighs just under 10.0 T. oz. Each piece sits on three lion-headed, cast feet. The handles are also cast, and appropriate to the design, Georgian in style. The interiors are finished in bright gold wash. They date mid 20th century.
