12 Matched HL Webster (Providence RI) Coin Dinner Forks

Each of these 12 circa 1850 matched dinner forks is 7 3/4" long. The groups weigh a hefty 19.3 T. oz. They are stamped "Coin" and "H.L. Webster & Co." for the Providence, Rhode Island firm of that name. Webster was in partnership with Gorham for a short period prior to 1850. The pattern on these is a leaf and cable design that is identified with Webster. They have a feathered script "LAR" monogram. The condition is very good. There is no visible polishing wear. The finishes are nicely patinated. The tines are free of bends or burrs, although there is some slight tip wear on several pieces.
