This sterling silver baby spoon was made by Gorham circa 1895. It is stamped with a lion, anchor, G hallmark, the word Sterling, and number H 116. It is 3 3/4" long overall, and has a loop, finger grip handle. This features an elaborate design that includes flowers extending into the bowl, and a winged cherub or cupid figure on the lower shank. There is a script "TDeWB" (?) monogram. The condition is excellent. The pattern detail remains crisp and well-defined. The bowl is well-shaped and free of dings or dents. There is a little pebbling on the end of the bowl, which is probably the result of small teeth chewing a little vigorously.
