F&H (Boston) Scroll Coin Silver Dessert Spoon

This scroll pattern is a signature mid 19th design of Boston's Farrington & Hunnewell. This is 7" long, heavy, 1.3 T. oz., spoon is variously identified as a place, dessert or oval soup. It is a quality example in flawless condition. It has a feathered script "HBS" monogram on the reverse. There is no polishing wear. The bowl is well shaped and free of dings or dents. The finish is well patinated. The reverse is stamped ".F&H." Two additional matching spoons are available.
