Quality Eoff Sheaf of Wheat Coin Tablespoon

This 8 5/8" long, early 19th century, coin silver "Sheaf of Wheat" tablespoon is stamped "G. Eoff," for Garret Eoff of New York. The marked is accompanied by an incused eagle and the letter C. There is a feathered script "AB" monogram, and a shell-back bowl. This is a particularly fine example, with a strikingly clear and large figure. The finish is pleasing, and the shape is flawless. The bowl retains good form, is free of tip wear, and has a smooth interior.
