This jelly or aspic server was made by Wallace in the early 1900's. It is an early example, and entirely sterling silver. The pattern is Eton, which is an art nouveau floral design (iris in this case). This form is some rare. It is 8 1/8" long overall, with a slender, trowel-like blade. The sinuous, flowing pattern continues on the surface of the serving end. The blade is slightly cupped and has upraised shoulders. There is no monogram or monogram removal. The condition is immaculate. There is no polishing wear, nor burrs, bends or nicks on the blade. The finish is lustrous. Marks are the Wallace deer head emblem, and the words Sterling and Pat. 1902.
