Durgin Watteau Sterling Silver Sardine Fork

Durgin's Watteau is an energetic, 1890's, French Rococo design that incorporates roses, scrolls, and acanthus leaves set against an asymmetrical ground. This item is a 6 1/4" long, sterling silver, six tine sardine fork. It is in excellent condition and without a monogram or monogram removal. There is no polishing wear. The tines are even and pointed, and free of burrs, bends or nicks. The finish is lustrous. Marks are the Durgin D and the word Sterling.
