This sterling silver berry spoon is an old example of International's Cloeta. It was produced in the early 20th century, and fits within the art nouveau style. This is a large piece, 9" long, with a bowl 3 1/2" by 2 7/8" by 5/8" deep, and weighing a robust 3.3 T. oz. International was a conglomerate of several companies, and this has the original Wilcox and Evertsen Indian head mark, along with the word Sterling. This is in superb condition, and without a monogram or monogram removal. It retains very good pattern detail, with the fine lines of the leaves still visible, and the grapes individually distinct. Polishing wear is minimal to non-existent. The bowl is well-formed, and free of nicks, burrs or dents.
