This early 19th century coin silver teaspoon is 6" long. It is stamped "CB" with a serrated border, for Clement Beecher of Berlin and Cheshire, Connecticut. The handle has a reverse tipt end, with a elaborate feathered script "B" monogram on the front. The bowl has an unusual straight line exposed drop. The condition is very good. The form and finish are appealing. The bowl is well shaped, with very slight tip wear, and two pinprick dimples in the base.
