Wood & Hughes' Angelo is an 1870's Renaissance Revival desgin. This example is a 5 13/16" long sugar spoon. The bowl has coffered shoulders and an engraved interior. The reverse of the handle is monogrammed "J.F." in a feathered script. The condition is excellent. The pattern detail and engraving remains well-defined, free of polishing wear. There is a slight dimple on the backside of the bowl, where it rests, but this does not carry through to the front. Marks are WwH, Sterling, and Patent 1878.
