Matched Pair S. Kirk & Son Sterling Footed Salts

Standing 1 7/8" high, having a top diameter of 2 1/2", a base diameter of 1 7/8", and weighing just under 4.0 T. oz., this pair of sterling silver footed master salts are generously proportioned. The maker's mark is S. Kirk & Son Co., 925/1000, and the number 322. The mark corresponds with work produced in the first quarter of the 20th century. The design is a plain bowl form, with a tiered pedestal base, and a lined rim around the tops and bottoms. Each piece is monogrammed in an art nouveau, flowing style. The condition of both items is flawless. The bases are even and the walls free of dings, burrs or scratches. The finishes are lustrous.
