This 5 1/2" long, rather light, sterling silver bonbon or nut server was made by Baker-Manchester. It is without a pattern name, but is quite similar to Mount Vernon's Adolphus, and likely dates from the same circa 1905 period. Featuring three floral clusters of forget-me-not, or similar, blossoms, it follows in the art nouveau style. The bowl is attractively shaped in a scallop form, with a flanged rim, piercings, and a matte gold finish. There is no monogram or monogram removal. The condition is flawless. The piece clearly has seen little use, and shows no wear. Marks are the Baker-Manchester emblem and the word Sterling.
