Sterling Silver Tea Ball and Chain

This silver tea ball is complete and original. It has an egg shaped base, a domed top, and an attached chain with ring. It is stamped Sterling, but is without a maker's name. It is American, and probably from the first third of the 20th century. It is 1 3/4" high and 1 5/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition. The hinge is secure, with a bit of side play. The snap clasp is likewise intact.
